Curtin..Uni of tect

Today...2 representative from Curtin university sarawak...came to SMI..
they talked about courses on engineering..
we did some..exp too..
e.g. SPACE EGG!!

more details:

Task 1: given 1 egg....15 straw..and masking tape...
....objective: protect the egg from a fall(1storie building tall fall)

given 30 min...
A group of...5....but my group only have 4...(Stephen..ashwin..arvinth and me)(GROUP GALAH)
so we all..design lo....
erm...first shape was like a rojak circular shape...ermm...dono how to say la...
then...the test begins...
many fail...
few pass...
we did have a great time...
SMASHING up EGGS:)

eventually...my group design failed...


after the short break...
we got task 2...

Task 2:
given 40 straws...40 min of time...masking tape...and 2 EGGS...omg...how la.??
haha
so we work on it...again:(
erm....we went straight to the position..
we wrap the eggs with a cylinder shape protector made of straws.....
and put some ....shock absorbers la....
and finally the shape we obtain is...A COKE BOTTLE eventually...some group copy ours...but i think ours is much nicer...and ori:)
haha
oh ya...forgot to mention...Nicki group..was like dead...parvin was like talking about the CONCEPT!! for 35 min..and they spend their time doing for only 5 min...lol...
i was laughing like mad cow...haha...
finally...he came with the concept..of SPRING...lol
for me...it was like WTF...wats the use??...as if straw can act as spring...
anyway...results needs to be shown...

so...

testing time:)...

trew...trew...and mine was the 3rd to be trowed...
and guess wat....1 egg broke and the other manage...:)...not bad la....
coke bottle wor...wat u expect?...

then ...came...parvin spring..haha...
i was..sure gone...
and it did...
after 35min of talking crap...both eggs broke...broke badly...even the yoke came out..
only 1 word to say...NOOB!!

only 1 group manage to get 2 eggs landed safely...
CONGRATS!...

we got back to the hall and it was time 4 price giving...
got...best group...funniest group...ect...
then got BLUR GROUP..
haha...
i hope parvin group gets it(niki was lauging):P
nope...didn;t..
but....
got blurer group award..
haha..
nope...did din get it..too..haiz...
but surprisingly got...blurest group award...
and THEY GOT IT!!...muahhahahaha...I was laughing like a mad cow again...lol...

then more awards...and...
Most creative award came...
and MY GROUP WON!!...
got a bag...a egg shape ball...pen.......cool
so HAPPY!!!
