CGBC Youth Camp 2009

AWESOME CAMP!....

every1 plays an important role in the camp...
as for me...
I was one of the Group Leaders..(JACOB)
was in the first Session worship team...(doing PA)
and Last but not least...a member of the COMEBOYZ!...(winner of talent-time)

although all this may sound easy....
but for me...it really does not come easy...

many things happen through out the camp...
towards the theme..."THE X-TREME MAKEOVER"
alot of changes has to be made...and has been made to overcome big and small problems...



starting off as a Group Leader of my group JACOB...
is actually Hard to handle a Group with around 17 members
in addition to tat...i got some pple whom i really think tat will disrupt the group
there are also many younger ones...which i tot they will be shy...and will not contribute...
and so r the older ones who i tot will disturb and not follow...
But Praise the Lord...
It turns out tat this year...I have the most AWESOME GROUP ever!...
i really want to thank all my members...who payed attention...contributed...and also obeyed the camp rules and not doing any stupid stuffs...
I also believe tat every1 in my group has grown in many ways...
Although my Group did not get first...
I understand the meaning of leadership...and i have learn alot about in from my Group:)

Going on to Worship team...
as said..i was the PA personal for Ming sheng(worship leader)
unlike every ordinary sound check
the PA system is different from the one we have in Church..
so...getting used to it...is a challenge..
During Worship....
The Grace of GOD was so strong...tat mostly all the musical instrument got hang-wire..
1st...Ju Siong's Guitar string broked
2nd...Ming Sheng's guitar string broke...
3rd...Kevin's drum seat broke....
4th..Ming Sheng's mike suddently no sound...
But thank God...
the worship was AWESOME!


and lastly fot the talent-time competition...
THE COMEBOYZ
me, ming sheng, jonathan, adrian, ju siong and kevin had our last practice in the room...
i was getting the lights rdy...
that night.......
we js did wat we did...
but...mistakes happen...
mostly blurness...
but anyway...By the grace of God...
it turns Up awesome...
everyone laugh...
it was so loud tat...we could not even hear the music...
but in the end...
WE r crowned the WINNERS:)

my next camp will start on the 3rd Jan...and it is a NATIONAL SERVICE CAMP!
